Versions for a watch and for a television are planned, not available. - Requires Android 8.0 (API 26) or later; available in English and Italian. - It has no account and no advertising, and the author runs no weather server: the app asks public weather services (such as Open-Meteo) about the places the user added, which sends those coordinates to the service. - Forecasts beyond the next couple of hours come from numerical models (ECMWF, GFS, ICON, AROME) that the user can choose and compare. Radar coverage depends on the country and the app says when there is none. - Alerts watch fixed places the user chose, so no background location permission is requested. - Availability: Weathering is in the author's self-hosted F-Droid repository (https://releases.android.apps.gpm.name/repo, also usable from Obtainium) and is not on Google Play. The source code is private for now. ## Pages - [Weathering](https://weathering.gpm-apps.com/): Weathering is an Android weather app that opens on a rain radar and alerts you on how hard, when it starts and stops, and which way it is coming from. - [Changelog](https://weathering.gpm-apps.com/changelog/): Release history of the Weathering Android app, newest first, with plain-language notes on what each beta release changed. - [Privacy Policy](https://weathering.gpm-apps.com/privacy/): What Weathering sends off your phone: only the places you added, to public weather services.
